My name is Audrey Bourque and I grew up in Bellingham Massachusetts. I went to a small private school through middle school, and then moved on to Blackstone Valley Tech where I developed a passion for caring for others. I was a part of the health services shop where I was introduced to nursing and was elected captain of the varsity softball team. I graduated in national honors society with my certified nursing assistant in 2018, and got a job at a local assisted living facility. I was accepted into the University of New England’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program and continued my journey into my nursing career.I am a very family-oriented, goal-driven and passionate person. Through my values, came my passion for nursing as my purpose. I feel honored when I am able to be there for someone at their most vulnerable moments and show them that they are not alone. I am confident in my skills that I have developed at UNE, but I am excited to continue my education as I move further into my nursing career.Through this ePortfolio, I hope that viewers are able to get a sense of who I am and the skills that I have developed over my years in the healthcare field.
