Your essay was very nicely worded and well thought out. I enjoyed your introduction and how it really connects with the reader and makes them want to read more. The only things that I think you should consider for your final paper is maybe making your thesis into a clear statement not a question. Also, in your second paragraph, consider writing about the connection between perception and metaphors in the fact that the way someone perceives a metaphor can completely change the meaning of the metaphor to that person. Lastly, maybe consider in your third paragraph writing about how the patients may react to a metaphor that they perceive in a different way than the physician intended it to be perceived. Maybe mention how it could scare or confuse the patient more if a physician isn’t cautious with their word choice when talking to a patient or their family. Other than that, your paper was very professional!
