This Exemplar allowed me to reflect on an experience of mine in the very beginning of my clinical experiences. I appreciated this experience as a learning opportunity to not only learn a skill, but to also observe the nurses role in the healthcare team, prioritization, delegation, communication and teamwork. I thought about this experience a lot throughout my time in nursing school and I was able to gain confidence through this experience to ask questions if I am unsure about something and how to interact with different members of the healthcare team.
