The second module in ATI was about nursing concepts. The one that stood out to me most was client-centered care. The client and their beliefs should be what the care-giver bases their care and the way they approach, talk to and care for the patient. Another nursing concept, which I experience being a CNA, is interdisciplinary collaboration. This is the healthcare team working together for the better of the patient. This includes CNA’s, Nurses, Doctors, Family members and most importantly the client. The client is the center of the healthcare team which the incorporates client centered care. Not one healthcare professional is more important than another because the only important member in the healthcare team is the patient.
