Preparation for Licensure (ATI Comp Predictor Proctored)

For this last ATI proctored exam and remediation, I felt extremely confident after I received the grade that I did. During the exam I thought there was no way I was doing well but I guess I knew more than I thought I did. Obviously, because it was a proctored exam, I took it in a quiet and non-distracting environment where I was able to easily focus on the exam and read through each question slowly. I still noticed during remediation however that I may still have misread some questions although I can’t know that for sure as I am not able to see the question or answers. During the exam, because there were so many questions, I found myself blanking out in the middle of the exam because I do not remember answering questions 80-120, I all of a sudden was on question 120 and though that I was 2/3 of the way through the exam and didn’t even realize it. This leads me to think that was the reason that I did not read through each question extremely carefully and therefore got some of them incorrect. For the NCLEX, especially because it is my board exam, I will be sure to take my time and do my best to not zone out while still answering questions as this leads to an increased number of incorrect answers. I appreciated this test, and I was able to gain a lot of confidence in myself and my knowledge for the NCLEX.
