Preparing for Licensure (ATI Pharmacology CAT)

Preparing for Licensure (ATI Pharmacology CAT)

After completing the pharmacology adaptive test, I was surprised at how well I did as I typically struggle with pharmacology. When taking the test, I took it while I was at work so I got distracted a few times and occasionally didn’t completely read the question. I noticed that I struggles with questions surrounding patient education, maternity medications and medications effect on lab values. For next time I will definitely find a time without distractions for me to take this type of exam, I will fully read through the entire question and all of the answers, and I will take time to decide which testing strategy is best for each question. For the proctored pharmacology exam, I plan to study more about maternity medications, lab values and important medication information in order to properly educate my patients.
