During the Evidence Based Practice I course with Professor Kramlich, I learned a lot about not only evidenced based practice in nursing but also a little taste into what it will be like being a part of the healthcare team. We worked together through zoom and in person, in order to complete our team influence paper about the effect of duration on the incidence of CAUTI. In the future, I will use these teamwork skills that I learned in this course to write the paper, in the real world as a nurse and a part of the healthcare team. We worked really well by bringing our different strengths together to make one strong group. During this semester I made sure to bring my strength of time management to the team by connecting with my group early in order to get our assignments done so we wouldn’t have to worry and cram in assignments that would be half the quality. I discovered throughout the course of the semester that I work really well in a team rather than by myself. By working together we have three brains thinking instead of one and we are able to bounce ideas off of each other in order to make the project the best quality it can be.
