Preparing for Licensure (ATI Maternity CAT)

Preparing for Licensure (ATI Maternity CAT)

During this adaptive exam, I feel that I did better on it than I expected. I was forced to take it in a somewhat distracting environment due to time constraints and even though I still had a lot of remediations, I feel that most of them were due to not paying attention or a content deficit. I found that on a few questions some of the things we learned in lecture were slightly different than the answers on ATI which was somewhat frustrating, but I feel that I learned from it. I took one short 10-minute break when I noticed myself not reading through the entire question and not being able to fully focus on the exam and I was able to come back to it with a fresher mind and continue answering questions. For the next exam I am going to schedule a time to take it very far in advance so I can truly see how I do on these types of exams. I feel that this past exam was not an accurate reflection of my knowledge and that if taken the time to really sit down and take the exam, I would do much better on it.
